The Ponies Thing Is a Lie

I have no idea what I am doing

Some thoughts on what I found out when I cataloged all my yarn. January 3, 2010

1) The most common colorway was Juniper, with five examples, and one winging its way to me from Mama Blue. There were also a lot in the “chocolate” family, the “charcoal” family, and the “ocean” family.

2) I have more blue sock yarn than green sock yarn. This blew my mind.

3) At one point, I bought enough yarn to knit 5 (FIVE!) Featherweight Cardis. Five. Holy God in Heaven.

4) I could use some ideas on how to use up 5,000 yards of sportweight alpaca in neutral colors.

5) I probably ought to put a rider on my house insurance for the value of my yarn.
